With Covid 19 affecting the celebration of Weddings, Micro-Weddings in NYC have been largely talked about in the industry currently. Although Neira and Noah’s Micro Wedding of 15 guests was just last year, their wedding at the Treehouse for Dreaming was so ahead of their time. If you are planning a Micro Wedding in NYC, having a small ceremony at Treehouse for Dreaming is a great idea! Enquire here today if you are looking for a NYC Micro Wedding Photographer.
Central Park is beautiful all year round and these are some of my favorite sessions done at Central Park in the Summer and on a rainy day.
Get a Wedding Permit which you can apply through the Central Park Website .
If your wedding consists of 20 or more people, you should apply for a Special Events permit with the Manhattan Borough. Please note that it takes 30 days to process your application!
There is a $25 non-refundable application fee that is payable by credit or debit card via the online application.
Have a friend officiate your wedding for you or hire an officiant from Honey Break Officiant!
Get your Marriage License at City Hall at least 1 day before your Wedding day. The Marriage License is valid for 60 days from when you get it.
Wear Comfy shoes! I loved how Neira wore a classic pump but also had her Valentino Studs Flat Shoes to change into when her feet got tired from all the walking!
Relax and enjoy the time with your closest family and friends who matter!

Tinder, the 2000’s way to meet your life partner! We had been dating for a year and half before we got engaged and 2 years when we got married. We had a very quick engagement 🙂
Autumn in Central Park is so beautiful and we lucked out with a 70 degree fall day! We wanted a spot that had the mix of city and nature. We liked that it was intimate but we also loved the bustling city life around us. Super affordable to get married in the park and we got tons of compliments from passersby.
Noah: Other than marrying my best friend, it would have to be seeing my grandfather roll into the park in his wheelchair, full of smiles! This was the last family event he made it to before passing away; he told us he was making sure to stick around just long enough to see us get married.
Neira: That was my favorite moment too. It meant a lot to him and to us. My other favorite moment was finally hearing our 2 vows joined together. We didn’t want to read our vows to each other so we sent notes to our officiant (Noah’s best friend) weeks before, he compiled our vows together and read it out loud for our family to hear.
