Sans serif fonts also make a more decorative and romantic graphic design, while serif fonts are more modern and sleek.

For important information like times and locations, have fonts in bold or italics for emphasis. Are your guests coming from another country? Think about who you’re inviting. Create a bilingual wedding suite for older guests who speak their native language. This is a fun and welcoming way to make people feel excited for your big day.

Add a Map for Your Wedding Day

For your DIY wedding invitations, include a site map. That way, your guests can refer to it when they arrive to the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. You have so many ways to get creative with this. Think about adding it to the envelope as a second paper, so they can keep it safe for the big day.
