About Rebecca Ou
Rebecca is a Singapore wedding photographer working in a fine art, editorial style. She shoots destination weddings worldwide, with a particular pull toward Bali, and an eye for the moments that happen in the margins: a glance across the room, the way a dress moves, the quiet before everything begins. Her images are precise and considered, the kind that feel at home in a magazine spread and still stop you mid-scroll.
That instinct comes from six years at Moda Operandi, where she worked as a photo retoucher and fashion photographer. The detail obsession, the compositional precision, the sense of light: it all transferred. The difference is that now the subject is your actual life.
I love photographing intimate weddings and Trinity Church was the perfect location for small weddings like this one! With such a guest count, Melissa and Andrew wanted a smaller church for a ceremony so that their guests can hear and see them up close. It was one of the simplest but gorgeous winter weddings - the perfect start to 2019 for me!

Esther an John was one of my favorite clients in 2018. Their wedding was filled with beautiful details to photograph because Esther loves being creative even though she is a nurse! She is definitely a bride of many talents. She designed her own invitations and did all the calligraphy for her wedding! She even wanted to get to the venue earlier so that she can design the dessert table!

Sumia and Safwan's east Indian wedding was definitely the most colorful wedding I have photographed. Their celebration lasted for two days. The first night was a night of dancing and the second was their reception. Sumia was one of my most thoughtful brides she even got coloring books and crayons as wedding favors for her younger guests! She is an aunt to her two nieces who look up to her so much!

Dana and Peter have been dating for the longest time, the kind of couple that has been high school sweet hearts. It was an honor to document their wedding where they celebrated their long term relationship with their friends and family. The wedding was super glam - with gorgeous flower arrangements in the most perfect Venue at the Grand Marquis Ballroom.

Rebecca was a priceless photographer to work with. She met with us beforehand to understand the vision for our wedding and how she could best document it, even going to the trouble of learning who each of our close family/friends were by face, so she would know who to look out for most while taking the photos. During the day of our wedding, Rebecca was patient with our group and almost unnoticeable at times (in a good way!). I've been to many weddings where the presence of a whole photography team drove me crazy, because they seemed to distract from the wedding itself. Rebecca got all of the right shots, but never seemed like she was distracting from the experience. And if you like what you see on her site, I guarantee that you'll like the result of what she finishes for you. Her ability to consistently recreate the same quality and style of photography is fantastic.

Rebeeca was an incredible photographer. She captured not only the major moments, but the entire experience. She was very punctual and flexible not only leading up, but also day of and beyond. We had multiple meetings leading up to wedding which truly gives you an idea of how much to cared about preparation and the final product. I had a relatively large two day south Asian wedding. She was able to carry the room and everyone was raving about how kind she was. We had a few schedule adjustments the day of and she adjusted accordingly, and more importantly, happily. She delivered the photos on time, beautifully organized. She truly wants you to enjoy your big day. I am so beyond grateful we chose Rebecca as our wedding photographer.

Wedding planning is probably one of the hardest things that I have had to do to date. Booking the right photographer was pretty high on our list and after checking out Rebecca's portfolio I felt that she was a good fit. After setting up an initial consultation call my husband and I were thrilled to hear all of the cool ideas that Rebecca had for our big day. She took the time to get to know us and understand our vision for the big day. Looking back over the our wedding day we definitely were in the best hands with Rebecca, she captured all of our special moments beautifully! We have moments that we will treasure forever because of her. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!
