Over the past weekend, I shot a beautiful micro wedding at Celestine in Brooklyn overlooking the Manhattan Skyline. As a Micro Wedding NYC Wedding Photographer, I wanted to share some of my tips if you are a bride who is now forced to change your wedding plans in the midst of Covid 19.
What is a Micro Wedding?
A micro wedding typically consists of 50 people or less to celebrate your Wedding Ceremony and Reception with you safely and responsibly.
As a Wedding Couple getting married in New York City, what can you do to keep your guests safe?
Have face masks covering and hand sanitizer as wedding favors
Have Hand Sanitizers on every table
Pick an outdoor venue for both your ceremony and reception
Keep your guest count small
Seat your guests per household, and if you must, reduce your guest number per table to 6 instead of 10.
Skip buffet meals and have individual plated meals instead
What are some outdoor venues in New York that you would recommend?
As a NYC Micro wedding photographer, how are you keeping safe during this time?
I sanitize my hands and wear gloves before touching any private items while shooting details such as wedding rings, invitation cards, or the couple’s bouquet and boutonniere.
Before the wedding, I go for a COVID 19 testing at City MD to make sure that I am tested negative and am safe to go out in public.
I wear a protective face covering at all times while photographing your Micro-Wedding. Even when I’m not photographing a wedding, wearing a face-covering is a must!
