It’s not every day you get to propose to the love of your life on top of the world.

So when Jake reached out to us asking to document his wedding proposal at ASPIRE One World Observatory – obviously we couldn’t say no.

Jake and Jackie have been dating for six years.

It’s hard to believe that fate didnt have a part to play in bringing them together!

Jake’s dad and Jackie’s mum were actually colleagues at one point. They only found out that their kids were dating years later!

On the day of the proposal, Jake tricked Jackie into thinking that they were going to check out the ASPIRE Observatory.

When they arrived, an event manager came up to them and said: “Congratulations! You’ve won a special pass to get to a private room!”

As they entered the space, the glass room was bathed in a beautiful evening light. It was complete with rose petals, a dessert table and of course a diamond ring from Tiffany’s.

It was by far, the most beautiful and intense wedding proposal we have ever done!

But the surprises didnt end there for Jackie. She was surprised by their friends who had come to celebrate the occasion.

It was a truly breathtaking experience – with the stunning views of Manhattan marking the perfect end to the day.

What’s the best time of day to have a session?

Pro-tip, if you’re thinking of proposing or doing a photoshoot at the ASPIRE observatory – why not try a sunset session?

With glass walls everywhere, you get tons of natural light.

Jake timed the proposal to happen around 1.5 hours before the sun was setting. The result? A stunning sunset view from up in the skies.
