Last Fall, my partner of 10 years got married back home in Singapore at the Raffles Hotel Singapore. Right after booking our wedding venue, the next thing I focused on was getting my skin care routine on point. I knew that I didn’t want my bridal make up to look cake-y or heavy that didn’t look natural. The first step to do is finding amazing skin care routine that would fit your skin type. For me, I have dry sensitive skin. Today, I share a few of my favorite products that I still continue using on a daily basis!

SKII Pitera:

This essence known as “miracle water” helps soften and smooth, reduce dark spots and fine lines, and even the look of skin tone. Using this before applying thicker serums and moisturizer helps my skin absorb the nutrients that these products provide.

NU Face Toning Device:

Sadly, I only discovered this device after my wedding but I thought that I would include this as well. Over the years, my jaw bruxism has escalated and I feel that it has changed my jaw shape. This device has immediate sculpting effect. I realized that my cheekbones are more lifted, ,my jaw line is more defined and my skin is a lot brighter. This at home microcurrent spa treatment does take time but is an amazing product to try.

Massage Tools

For someone with jaw Bruxism, facial massages before bedtime and in the morning is really important to de-puff the face. Relaxing my facial muscles is also beneficial to my dental health as I would grind less throughout the night. So far, this has been a major game changer for me!

Sunscreen

Growing up, my mother has taught me how important protecting your skin is. As I notice my skin age, I realize how important sunscreen is to prevent skin cancer, dark spots and wrinkles.

During a layover in Korea with 10 minutes to spare while finding our connecting flight, I walked by the Sulwahsoo store which was doing a 1 for 1 give away. I took this opportunity to try 3 of their products: The Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Emulsion, Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Water, and Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Serum

Ginseng as a key ingredient to their products is used to improve elasticity of skin and reduce wrinkles. It’s a great anti aging ingredient to nourish dry skin and to brighten the skin. My favorite part of this product is the way it feels on the skin. It is a smooth film texture that doesn’t feel sticky.
